United Launches a New Grab-and-Go Lounge to Power You Up Before Your Flight

The new expansion of Concourse B at Denver Airport has introduced an innovative lounge concept from United Airlines, designed to offer passengers tasty snacks and drinks they can easily take on their flight. This fresh idea caters to the preference of many travelers who enjoy taking goodies on the go, something which was not always encouraged.

United’s new lounge, called United Club Fly, has made it perfectly acceptable to take snacks away, presenting convenient grab-and-go options. Looking for a latte? Simply order it, watch the barista prepare it, and take it with you. Need something more filling than a few Goldfish crackers for your journey? Choose a pre-packaged sandwich or snack directly from the display.

“United Club Fly is focused on providing a convenient, elevated experience. We understand sometimes our members are in a rush and use our lounges for a quick snack or drink. Our new format makes it easy for them to do so while maintaining an upscale atmosphere,” said Luc Bondar, United’s Vice President of Marketing & Loyalty and President of MileagePlus.

With Denver being a major connection point for over two-thirds of travelers, it serves as the perfect location to launch this concept. The lounge’s setup resembles a stylish convenience market, where guests can scan their boarding pass, select their desired food and drinks, and swiftly head out to their gate.

United Club Fly features self-serve soda and coffee, expertly crafted Illy espresso drinks, yogurt, sandwiches, wraps, and fresh fruit and veggie packs—though alcohol isn’t available in this lounge. Presently, this service is exclusive to Denver, one of United’s key hubs, and accessible only to United Club members, international premium cabin travelers, and holders of United Club one-time passes. You can find it easily in Concourse B’s East expansion area.
